The staff are kind & courteous. Very friendly. Kaitlyn does a wonderful job making sure my hair looks great. Would recommend to all.
Stephanie was absolutely awesome. Gave me the best hair cut and such a pretty low light.
I just went to this salon yesterday, and the customer service is great, they take great care of you while you’re there. My stylist was very good at listening to what I was asking for, and seemed to pay good attention to detail. She had told me my front pieces needed to process for 15 minutes and she would be back to check them, but I didn’t see her until 30 minutes later (a big difference with bleach!) and my foils weren’t even checked, just was immediately taken to rinse my hair out (not sure if this has anything to do with how light my front pieces came out on the right). At first I thought it looked very good, and I was happy with my results. Although their lighting was a bit weird, and it was also my first time to a salon, I usually do my own hair. Well I got home and did a little more looking at it in the mirror and in different lighting, and first off there was still dye on my forehead (I’m not sure if that’s normal from salons or not), but then I also come to realize half of my head looks like blonde stripes, just not blended well at all.
The left side looks perfect but the right side is terrible. I called to get it fixed and was told I could come in next week for her to look at it. My overall experience was alright, I liked that she was nice and caring, I just don’t like how my hair turned out for paying $200. On top of it I have to drive back out to the salon. At this point I kind of wish I would’ve just requested my money back and took it elsewhere!
In the darker photos you can’t tell (this was how it looked outside when I got done-dark)
But once I got home you can see in the brighter lighting it just didn’t turn out good.
Monday I will edit this review to tell if my opinion has changed, I wanted to write my original experience though.
I have been getting multiple services done at this salon for a couple of years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else.
My favorite are my facial appointments! My skin was showing some signs of dullness and uneven skin tones and I was becoming so frustrated. After about the 3 or 4th time of seeing Melissa, I started to get compliments on my skin and that was worth every penny! Not only do I get to relax and be pampered, but people also notice. Now they have even more skin services that I will be trying!
I have been coming here for years to see TJ for massages. She is hands down the best they have at Daybreak! You feel so relaxed, and if you are having any pain etc. she always gets those areas taken care of! Cant say enough great things about her.
I had a mommy-to-be package today; the mani/pedi by Sam was TO DIE FOR. She took her time, did a beautiful job, and took excellent care of me. I felt like a princess :)
I and my family love coming to your salon, mostly for massages. However about 2 weeks ago I had an hour massage at your Wyandotte location. As soon as I met the lady doing my massage we talked at length about how I needed extreme pressure, I even shared a story about how I really need a lot of pressure to help my back. When I booked I explained I didn’t know what the difference was between a therapeutic and deep tissue, and was told I could put in either, then to just discuss it when I got there, which I did! If there’s a difference in price, I PROMISE I was not trying to get something for less. I really needed a massage! A few minutes in I asked if she could please use more pressure, as such a lack of pressure doesn’t help me at all. She said ok, and said she could feel all the knots. I was a little shocked that I had to ask after how much we had discussed it. After a few more minutes I said “I’m sorry but I really need more pressure.” She said ok, but I really couldn’t feel much of a difference. I don’t understand how a client can thoroughly explain what she needs before the massage, then ask twice during the massage, and basically be completely ignored. Whenever we have come for massages we have always been beyond happy. I’ve came in for an hour, and the massage was so good I asked and got another half hour. The thing is how can I be assured that if I come back, this won’t happen again?
Had a super awesome experience having the owner come over and bring his years of experience to help out another hairdresser with my hair. BEST Haircut ever. 💇♀️ Thankyou. …
